One donor, completely unprocessed and healthy hair. Cuticles healthy, intact and naturally flowing in the same direction, root-to-tip. As it comes from a single full head shaved (not cut or trimmed), it is inherently single-drawn — uniform in texture and health through the whole bundle.
Cuticles still aligned and running one direction — but the source can be the discards of virgin Remy, donors whose hair isn’t healthy, or hair cut from the donor (not root-to-tip, so it won’t make the weight for a 100 g / 3.5 oz bundle), among others. Because the hair is blended, it’s treated with milder chemicals for a uniform texture and can be offered double or super-double drawn. Good hair — but a major step down from virgin, and often falsely labelled to sell.
